Thaw granules based on sodium formate for ice removal and prevention of slippery surfaces
- Particularly suitable for applications where fast and efficient thawing is required and where corrosive and environmental impact should be low
- Can be used to prevent slips and to remove ice and snow
- When applied in advance, efficiently prevents forming of slippery platforms and reduces ice and snow getting stuck on surfaces
- Safe for the environment, people and animals
- Biodegradable
- Granule size 2–5 mm
- Can be used down to approx. –15°C; however, it takes longer to thaw at low temperatures
- Can be applied manually or with general application tools for solids
- Can be used on its own or together with grit
