PRECISION-SHAPED CERAMIC ABRASIVE GRAIN
The disc features a redesigned and precision-shaped Cubitron 3 ceramic abrasive grain, whose patented structure creates a sharp, angular edge. The structure continually fractures to form sharp cutting edges, ensuring even wear, cool operation and controlled mineral breakdown.

Higher material removal rate and longer service life compared to the 3M™ Cubitron™ 2 fibre disc 982C.
DURABLE CONSTRUCTION
Rigid fibre backing and strong resin bond ensure long-lasting durability in heavy grinding applications, such as medium to high pressure grinding, weld removal and bevelling – also suitable for robotic applications.
LOW OPERATING TEMPERATURE
Only low grinding pressure is required, allowing the disc to operate efficiently at lower pressure. Reduced grinding pressure also minimises metal discolouration and the risk of stress cracking when grinding steel and carbon steel.
LONG-LASTING
The disc maintains extremely sharp cutting edges, delivering exceptionally fast cutting throughout the entire service life of the fibre disc, regardless of the applied grinding pressure.
