Operating range
Metal flakes are added to the material during the manufacturing process. Depending on the application, metal detectors will detect even a small piece of a cable tie, which means that the ties can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system is being used increasingly often in the food industry. The HACCP system was developed by Codex Alimentarius of the World Health Organisation, which requires very strict safety and systematic risk analyses.
